How Do I Get a U Reward Card?

You can get a U Reward Card from any U Reward Merchant or Authorized Service Centre (ASC). Or check with the person who told you about U Reward.

How Do I Activate/Register My U Reward Card?

Generally the merchant or ASC that you got the UR card from will send in the application form you filled out.

How Soon Can I Get U Reward Points and Use U Reward Points After Registering My U Reward Card?

You can receive points right away, but you can only redeem points upon registration / activation.

Can I Use More Than One U Reward Card?

Yes. We can register more than one card per IC number.

Can Points Be Transferred From One Card to Another?

No. We cannot transfer points from one card to another unless the card is a replacement or renewal card for the same account.

What if I Got a Card From One Merchant, But Now I Want to Get the Package From Another Merchant?

You are welcome (and encouraged) to buy the membership packages from as many merchants as you like. The packages are worth far more than their cost even if you don't need the U Reward Card. You can always give the card to a friend or family member that hasn't joined yet. Accumulate point will go to registered i/c.

How Much Are My U Reward-Points Worth?

Cash Value is .004 per UR-point. So 3000 UR-points have a cash value of RM 12

Just login to www.ur2u.com and you will see your account information including your point balance.

Just go to the U Reward Merchant of your choice and use your UR-point value like cash when making a purchase.

When Does My U Reward Card Expire?

One year after activation. You have a 3 month grace period after that to renew. During the grace period you can collect UR-points, but you can't redeem them. All of your UR-points will be suspended until you renew. If you renew within the 3 month period, your UR-points will all be available again.

What Do I Do If I Lose My Card?

Buy a package from any U Reward Merchant and select "renewal" while activating and registering the new card. All of your points and details will be transferred.

What if someone finds my lost card and tries to redeem my points?

They won't be able to because i/c is needed for redemption purposes.

What if I make a mistake while registering a card?

Call customer service and they will help you sort it out.

When UR members are using their UR-points (accumulated from various participating UR merchants outlets) to redeem merchandise from a merchant, what are the procedures? Can a merchant claim back the product cost which the member redeemed with UR? How long will it take for the merchant to be paid?

The member must present his card and i/c whenever he makes any redemption transaction. Transaction slip will be printed and signed by the card member. Yes, UR will pay the product cost (in Ringgit Malaysia) which is equivalents of the member UR-points redeemed at the merchant by converting in to UR-Points and (1RM=100 UR-points) top up into merchant UR-point Account. The converting into merchant UR-points Account process will done automatically upon member redeemed at merchant.

When UR members redeem their UR-points in exchange for goods or services at our UR merchants, is there any redemption fee to be borne by the merchant?

There will be NO redemption fee to be borne by merchants.

Q3.

Upon confirming as an UR Merchant, what is the duration for terminalization upon submission and acceptance of documentation, and, who will be involved in this process?

It will take about 7 to 10 working days. The parties involved will be UR, Authorized Service Centre and the merchant.

What are the required forms to be submitted prior to processing the merchant application?
• UR Application Form
• Company Registration Form 24,49, M&A or Form D and A/B
• Three (3) months bank statement (for merchants without terminal)
• Company Profile
• Business Card

How does a merchant undertake its own co-Branded card program? Would its customers using its co-Branded card be able to earn or redeem UR-points from other UR Merchants?

The merchants will have to decide how many Co-Brand cards they want – a minimum quantity of 500pcs @ 6.00/ pc (Based on max 4 colors front and 2 colors back). Yes members can shop and collect UR-points from any other participating UR merchants.

How is the mechanism of the UR Merchant awarding system works?

Merchant will award UR-point to UR members basing on a agreed rebate rate by buying UR-point from UR. Example: ABC merchant giving 10% rebate rate. Terminal will be programmed and when UR member purchase RM100 worth of products at ABC, RM10 (1000 UR-point) will be deducted from ABC’s merchant account and these UR-point will be awarded to UR members account.

From whom does a merchant obtain UR-points from? Are there any criteria for this purchase?

All merchants need to purchase credit UR-points from UR directly. The minimum value of UR-points required for a purchase is RM500 which is worth Of 50,000 UR-points.

Are the EDC terminals belong to UR?

The EDC terminals belong to UR. The training on the usage of these terminals for the UR program will be handled by UR Authorized Services Center.

If there are technical problems with the terminal, to who does the merchants required to contact for technical support?

For technical support, merchants can contact the designated UR Authorized Service Centre, or contact UR HQ directly for assistance.

How do we obtain supply of Terminal Paper Rolls and what are the costs?

After the initial installation, the subsequent supply of paper roll cost will be borne by the merchant. The cost will be at RM40.00 per 1000 pcs EDC slips

How much does it cost me to join as an UR merchant?

The min cost involved would be only RM1288 This includes joining fees, installation of one (1) EDC terminal at the outlet with UR POS materials and FREE access to UR Customer Relationship Management System, FREE Advertisement, FREE SMS portal, FREE 5000 UR-points, FREE monthly rental and zero cost maintenance for EDC terminal.

How do I keep track of my customers and their spending habits?

The UR system will be able to keep track of the issuance and redemption of the merchant’s UR-points. Hence, reports can be generated from the website under the merchant accounts for their own tracking purpose.

How do merchant replenish UR-points?

Upon signing of the agreement, merchants have to agree upon the minimum amount that they wish to replenish. There are 3 alert levels that UR will inform the merchants to replenish their UR-points. The UR-points will be automatically uploaded at the agreed amount to the merchant’s accounts. Upon receive payment from the merchant.

Do I need to commit a certain quantity if I wish to operate a Co-brand card program?

There is a minimum quantity of 500 cards that a merchant is required to commit when opting for a Co-brand card program.

Can two merchants share on one Co-brand card?

The co-brand cards can be shared, provided that the two merchants are from the same management company i.e. one same payment account and same nature of business.

How many merchant/logos can be on one co-brand card?

We can put in as many logos as the merchant want but all these merchants have to be from the same management company i.e. one payout account.

Are two merchants from different nature of business allowed to jointly issue one Co-brand card?

No, this is not allowed.
