Mr. Loke has more than 20 years of extensive experience in both hardware and software designer, as well as head of R7D for a number of large corporations.
In 1990, as the head of R & D of Accent Technology Sdn. Bhd., Mr. Loke with his team of three programmers, he successfully developed the world’s first BIOS (Basic Input Output System) for IBM compatible PC that came with anti-virus features, well ahead of industry leaders such as Award Softwares and Pheonix Softwares.
Mr. Loke wad the key designer of the ATOM-1 project, the first Malaysian school computerization project led by Malaysia Institute of Microelectronic System (MIMOS) and developed by a local consortium of computer manufacturers. The objective of the projects was to locally design a manufacture a computer model cater to the Malaysia schools.
Mr. Loke was the Head of R&D of Likom Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of Lion Group, and a local OEM manufacturer located in Melaka that designs and manufactures computers and peripherals for internationally well known brand names such as Apple Computers, Gateway, NEC, Canon, etc.
Mr. Loke Holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing degree with honours from University of Portsmouth, UK, and a Diploma in Technology (Electronics) from Tunku Abdul Rahman College, Kuala Lumpur. |
